D-Bat Liberty Hill, a baseball and softball training facility and batting cage, is expected to open in October.

Locally owned by Thomas and Amy Hood, the facility will be an all encompassing baseball and softball training academy, catering to players of all ages and skill levels.

D-Bat will offer professional coaching and host camps and clinics, and it will have pitching machines,

The business will also have a pro shop with equipment and apparel and be able to host birthday parties.
