Fleet Feet opened its doors to the Leander community in mid-May.
The business has over 280 locations across the country with over 25 Texas locations. The company sells a range of running gear from shoes, socks, insoles, sunglasses and more.

Pointe 183 Animal Hospital & Urgent Care opened in mid-April.
The animal hospital is open seven days a week and offers affordable services including vaccines and spay and neuter procedures.
The care center is equipped with state of the art diagnostic equipment and surgical capabilities for all services from preventative care to emergency procedures.

Cedar Park Women’s Center is now operating out of a different suite within the same complex. The center, located at 1401 Medical Parkway B, opened their new location in suite 120 of the complex in early May. The office was formerly housed in suite 410. The center offers a range of medical and care services for women, including annual testing, fertility consultation, hormone therapy, sexual health and wellness and aesthetic treatments like Botox. Drs. Mikayla Rush and Jennifer Meadows, two certified OB-GYNs, are the center's primary physicians.

5. Lioness Books
Williamson County mobile bookstore Lioness Books is planning on setting up a permanent location this year.
Lioness owner Sarah Ambrus founded the bookstore out of a custom-built 20-foot trailer in 2024. Ambrus, a former high school teacher, wanted to share her love of reading, and opted to start her first bookstore out of the mobile location so she could help bring books to the community. The store sells a wide variety of books and tries to emphasize a diversity of voices and perspectives.

The volunteer-run nonprofit clinic provides free medical and dental services to low-income, uninsured or underinsured Williamson County residents.
The clinic is open from 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday and may eventually expand to operating during the week and the evening, Dr. Lakshmi Atkuri said.

The College Station-based fast food chain serves original and spicy chicken finger baskets and chicken sandwiches alongside the Layne's secret sauce. Milkshakes, sweet tea and lemonade are also available.
The Leander franchise is owned by a team of eight cousins, including Shahroz Khan.

The new shopping center, located off Hero Way West, will feature multiple retail and dining spots, including Layne's Chicken Fingers, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Jersey Mike's Subs and Sherwin-Williams.
The men's salon provides haircuts, styling, beard trimming and detailing by appointment or on a walk-in basis.
During their visit, clients can enjoy watching sports on TV, a neck and shoulder massage, and a steamed towel treatment.

Grocery retailer Sprouts Farmers Market is set to open a 25,000-square-foot store in Leander, project information listed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows. The new Leander store is expected to open in 2027, a Sprouts spokesperson confirmed with Community Impact.
The grocery chain sells produce, bulk foods and vitamins as well as gluten-free, keto-friendly, plant-based and grass-fed products.

According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, a location off of Ronald Reagan Boulevard is being built out for the restaurant. The project is expected to kick off in July and finish in late January, according to the filing.
Desi Bites is an Indian fast food chain that prides itself on offering traditional food at affordable prices.
