From coffee chats, to book club, to fall celebrations—there is something to do for everyone in the Leander and Liberty Hill areas in September-October. This list is not comprehensive and all events are subject to change.

September Sugar Cookie Decorating Class

Community members are invited to come learn the basics of sugar cookie decorating with guided construction and take the sweet creations home. Attendees can expect to learn about icing consistencies, piping techniques and recipes to take home. Children ages 7 and older are welcome to join.Evening Book Club

Book lovers can mingle with fellow readers at the Liberty Hill Public Library for an evening of discussion about “Mother-Daughter Murder Night” by Nina Simon. Participants are invited to share your thoughts and connect with readers through conversation.Coffee Crawl Meet Up

Cedar Park and Leander Pride will host their monthly coffee chat with brews and a chance to meet new people. Meet ups are held on the first Saturday of each month.Texas Pumpkin Festival


Celebrate the fall season with a pumpkin patch, photo ops, live music, haunted attractions, a petting zoo, magic shows, rides, face painting and more. Attendees can select a pumpkin or gourd for $2 per item or $1 per pound. Food and drinks are available for purchase on site as well.20th Annual Bluegrass & Folk Festival

Community members are encouraged to attend the two-day music festival with live performances, food vendors, and a fun zone. The music line up has yet to be released. The family friendly event welcomes leashed dogs.Artoberfest 2025

Residents are invited to don their best fall costumes and partake in a day full of music, food, shopping and exploring along the Sculpture Trail. There will be artist booths, food trucks and vendors, along with regular park amenities like the playground and splash pad.Front Porch Sessions

Lariat is hosting the inaugural event at its new amenity center: The Junction, fit with two-step dance lessons, a performance from Six Sons of a Gun and food for sale. Attendees are welcome to bring personal coolers, blankets and chairs.Floating Pumpkin Patch


Participants are welcome to jump in the pool to find the perfect pumpkin or use one of the pool nets to make a selection. Tickets include supplies to decorate the pumpkin including paint, glitter and stickers.Leander Diwali Festival 2025

People of all ages can gather at Lakewood Park to celebrate Diwali with music, food and traditional performances.Spirits of Bagdad

History buffs are invited to join the Leander Chamber and City of Leander Historical Preservation Commission for the historical storytelling tour of the Bagdad Cemetery for a night of history and mystery. The walking tour is about 45 minutes long and includes only true stories.
