Freebirds World Burrito will celebrate its grand opening in Cedar Park on July 28. To prepare for the opening, customers are invited to eat at the restaurant Monday through Wednesday while also benefiting local organizations.

The restaurant, located in The Parke shopping center at 5001 Toll 183A, Ste. R500, Cedar Park, offers burritos, tacos, nachos, quesadillas, burrito bowls and salads.

A different local organization will benefit each day, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go toward the organizations. From 5-7 p.m. July 24, Leander ISD Educational Excellence Foundation will receive funds. The other days will recognize:

  • Austin Dog Alliance: July 25 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.

  • Cedar Park Fire Department: July 26 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.

“It’s been an exciting year for the Freebirds World Burrito family,” said Eric Coolbaugh, vice president of Marketing. “It’s awesome watching the brand continue to expand and reach new communities and we’re amped to open in Cedar Park.”

To celebrate their 30th anniversary this year, the eatery has also brought back promotions and menu items, including Tattoosday, where guests who stop by on Tuesdays to show off their tattoos receive a free order of chips and salsa with their purchase, and the “Pot Brownie.”
