The
city of Rollingwood will now be utilizing the Rave Mobile Safety Alerts platform,
following an announcement June 29, as the former citywide alert system was bought out. Residents should have received their first alert by the end of June.
Alerts are sent out by the city to residents for emergencies, weather issues, local events, water boil notices and more.
Residents that were previously registered through the former system, Swift 911, were automatically enrolled in the Rave system. However, residents are encouraged to fill out the Rave notification form, located at
www.rollingwoodtx.gov, to ensure contact information and alert preferences are updated.
Residents can also contact City Hall at 512-327-1838 or assistant to the city administrator Makayla Rodriguez at
[email protected] for questions or concerns.
