There are a number of ways to kick off the holiday season in the Lake Travis-Westlake area this year. Here are eight events to check out in Lakeway, Bee Cave and beyond.

2nd Annual Humble Warrior Games

The Jorge Pastore Foundation honors Jorge Pastore, a senior police officer killed in the line of duty, and benefits training and wellness programs for first responders. The second annual event will feature a variety of activities, such as a 5K trail walk/run, a team obstacle course challenge, kids' activities and vendor booths.Bee Cave on Ice

Mariachi Rock Revolution: Symphony en Fuego!


The event features a performance from Mariachi Rock Revolution and the Lake Travis Orchestras, bringing together Mariachi and rock music in the Concert Hall at the Lake Travis Performing Arts Center.'The Nutcracker' with Metamorphosis Dance

The performance of “The Nutcracker” follows the story of Clara, an aspiring ballerina, as she journeys across the globe. Founded in 2003, Metamorphosis Dance provides performances from experienced professionals and aspiring dancers to the Greater Austin area.TexARTS Professional Production 'White Christmas'

The holiday musical will feature classic songs, romance, costumes, dance numbers and more.

9th Annual Hill Country Turkey Trot 5k and 1-mile Puffin' for Stuffin'

Benefiting the Lake Travis Education Foundation, the Thanksgiving event allows participants to run, jog or walk on the Hills Country Club Signature Golf Course. The event is stroller-friendly and allows leashed dogs.2025 Zilker Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony


The holiday tree in Zilker Park is 155 feet tall, with a circumference of 380 feet and a total of 3,309 lights. The lighting event will feature local entertainment, food and live music, including pre-event music from Austin Civic Wind Ensemble.Lakeway Sings! 25th Anniversary Family Christmas Show

The performance of “Swinging’ with Santa” at the Lakeway Activity Center combines old music, new arrangements and Christmas songs as the Elves of Christmas Town search for a missing Santa. The price for admission is one unwrapped gift, benefiting Lake Travis Labor of Love’s Green Santa Program.
