New restaurants, gyms and a brewery are just a few businesses now open or coming soon in the Lake Travis-Westlake area. Here are 18 business updates to know for August.

1. Hamilton Mediterranean Grill & Pizza

The restaurant offers a variety of Middle Eastern dishes, as well as pizza and shawarma. The restaurant is located next to the Texaco gas station.2. La Frontera Mexican Bar and Grill


The restaurant offers entrees like fajitas, enchiladas and tacos, as well as sandwiches and burgers. Breakfast options, such as pancakes, waffles and breakfast tacos, are also offered.3. Autocraft Bodywerks

The national food truck chain has opened a new location in Steiner Ranch. The truck offers acai bowls, smoothies and juices, with other snacks like bananas and granola also available.5. Joe’s Slice of Sicily

Owner Joe Croce was born and raised in Capaci, Sicily, before moving to the United States. In addition to pizza, diners can order calzones, rolls, pinwheels, mozzarella sticks, wings, garlic knots, salads and sandwiches.6. Koncept Gyms

7. Highway 71 Brewing Co.

A new brewery is coming soon to Spicewood. Highway 71 Brewing Co. will offer craft beers, handcrafted mocktails and nitro brew coffee. The location will also feature indoor pickleball and golf simulators.8. Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids

The hair salon will offer haircuts and hair styling for kids ages 0-16, as well as activities for children, including kiddie cars and Xbox stations.9. Pvolve Bee Cave

11. Postino Westlake

The restaurant has plans to open a location in Westlake, according to a permit from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Postino serves a variety of appetizers, different types of bruschetta and charcuterie boards alongside plates, bowls, wine, cocktails, beers and refreshers. Work is scheduled for completion by Jan. 1, according to the permit.12. Crunch Fitness


The chain fitness gym has plans to open in Lakeway, according to a TDLR filing. The gym offers strength and cardio workout equipment as well as personal trainers, per its website. Work is scheduled for completion by next May, according to the permit.Relocations

13. Eco Estate Jewelry

The business at 900 S. RM 620, Ste. A102, Lakeway, will relocate from Lakeway Commons to a new spot in Lakeway Plaza that offers upgraded meeting spaces and technology, expanded team resources and a modern space for clients. Owned by Eric Hoffmaster and Alida Tallman, the store provides jewelry for purchase or consignment, repair, appraisals and more.In the news

The on-demand laundry service expanded its service area to include Westlake in May. The business picks up, washes, folds and returns laundry for customers usually within four hours, according to a news release.15. Westlake Chamber of Commerce

The organization is celebrating 30 years of supporting local businesses in September. Founded Sept. 22, 1995, the nonprofit provides support to the Westlake business community through networking opportunities, community events, annual awards ceremonies and more.16. Tomasik Family Dental

18. Rush

A 7-acre nature reserve and sports club will offer racket sports, food and drinks, entertainment, community and more. The first phase, the first six courts, is slated to open later this summer, said Nick Sutcliffe, CEO and founder of Rush.
