The details
The Canyon Club is a 60-acre residential resort project off Lake Travis offering a mix of 20 traditional and five 3D-printed homes. The traditionally-built homes designed by Mark Richardson Architects will start at $2.6 million, including five to six bedrooms within 4,480-5,782 square feet.
The 3D-printed homes by 3D home building company Icon will offer four bedrooms, with fractional ownership starting at $400,000 per share. Fractional ownership allows each purchaser to own 1/8 of the property and use it for six weeks annually, according to The Canyon Club.
“The debut of ICON homes at The Canyon Club represents a reimagined way homes are built, owned and experienced,” said Jared Kuhn, vice president of Icon's real estate development & sales, in a company news release. “By combining advanced construction technologies with a fractional ownership model, we’re making it possible for more people to invest in and enjoy high-performing, sustainable homes in an entirely new way.”
A launch event will be held May 3 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at 122 Shoreline Drive, Spicewood, where attendees can tour a six-bedroom model home and meet the team behind the development, the news release states. Attendees can RSVP at www.canyonclub.com/launch-event.

Amenities at the new development include a clubhouse, exercise facilities, a 3D-printed spa and wellness center, a resort-style pool and dining areas, lakefront access, a private beach, a natural 3D-printed amphitheater, sport courts and more.
