TexARTS Academy announced in a June 8 press release that it will open its facility after a three-month shutdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. TexARTS' summer season will open June 15 and run through Aug. 14, according to the release.

The Lakeway-based performing and visual arts nonprofit released a revised summer schedule with several classes focused on musical theater, acting and dance. The academy will have limited enrollment, with eight students per camp.

Other safety modifications will be put in place, including health screenings and increased cleaning. Staff and patrons will be required to wear face coverings upon entering the facility and during certain activities at staggered times throughout the day.

The weeklong camps are available for ages 5-17 with half- and full-day classes available.

A full schedule and registration information can be found on the TexARTS website.
