Estella
The seasonal Mexican-inspired restaurant spearheaded by award-winning chef Val M. Cantú is coming to Canyon Ranch, a luxury wellness resort. Cantú is also the chef and owner of Californios, the first Mexican restaurant to have earned two Michelin-stars, according to the Culinary Institute of America.
The barbecue food truck will be opening another location at the Lake Travis Biergarten. Good BBQ Company serves up a variety of barbecue classics including pulled pork, pork ribs, brisket and smoked sausage along with several side options and housemade barbecue sauce.
The school will offer a three-year program for students ages 3-6 with a full array of Montessori materials in math, language and sensorial and practical life activities at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Along with the traditional Montessori curriculum, students will also have weekly mass and atrium sessions rooted in Christianity.
The practice offers preventative dentistry, professional dental cleanings, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign and advanced dental treatments. The dental clinic accepts a variety of insurance providers.

Uniqlo
The Japanese clothing store offers men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and accessories. Construction is expected to end in September.
The convenience store is slated to start construction in the Briarcliff area in August, per a recent TDLR filing. Construction is expected to be completed in April 2027, and will cost $1.2 million.
The pizza shop sells classic slices like cheese and pepperoni, as well as house specials like the Sweet Sausage, made with ricotta cheese and drizzled with Calabrian honey. Wine, beer and cocktails are also available.
Texas Orthopedics
The business' South Austin location is moving from Loop 360 to a newly renovated, two-story building on Walsh Tarlton Lane near Barton Creek Mall. All doctors and physical therapists at the current Loop 360 location will be moving to the new location.
Book Drive for Kids
Book Drive for Kids is celebrating half a decade of operation in the Austin area this spring, said Brooke Terry, director of the Austin chapter. The nonprofit expanded to Austin in April 2021, hosting free book fairs at Title I and low-income elementary schools.
Lake Travis Chamber of CommerceThe chamber celebrated its 40th anniversary in May, marking four decades of serving the local business communities in Lakeway, Bee Cave, Spicewood and beyond.
The restaurant celebrated its 20th anniversary in May, serving up a variety of seafood cuisine including specialty oysters, Atlantic snow crab, shrimp, tuna tartare and lobster rolls, along with weekend brunch. Owner Pete Clark has lived in the Lake Travis area for 40 years.
