Embellish My Home owner Betina Martins Mogo has been using her architectural experience to design homes in the Lakeway area for nearly a decade.

Meet the owner

While Embellish My Home has been a fixture in the Lakeway community since 2006, Martins Mogo took over as owner in August 2015.

Originally from Argentina, she lived in Mexico before moving to the United States and received a masters degree in architecture from Texas A&M. Prior to Embellish My Home, she worked at architect studios and spearheaded a variety of her own projects.

“Design has been in my life, always, in one way or another,” she said.

What they offer

Embellish My Home provides a variety of interior design services, ranging from window treatments and custom upholstery pieces to in-home consultations for a multi-room or full home interior design remodel.

The shop also acts as a showroom where customers can purchase furniture, art, rugs, lighting fixtures and other accessories directly from the floor.

The business works with many different interior design vendors, Martins Mogo said, giving customers multiple options to customize their furniture fabrics, drapes and more within their budget.

What’s special about it?

While the holidays are typically a slower time of year for furniture stores, Embellish My Home offers seasonal decorating which Martins Mogo said helps “keep the traffic coming,” and hosts a party each year in October to prepare for Christmas by offering discounts.
