July 4th Celebration
The city of Lakeway’s 50th July 4th celebration will feature a parade running from the Live Oak Golf Course to the Lakeway Activity Center, followed by a Hot Dog reception. This year’s theme is “Lakeway: A Golden Legacy.”

Hosted by the Westlake Chamber of Commerce, the event celebrating Independence Day will feature a parade, costume contests, live music, free food, games, face painting, a balloon artist and more.

The celebration in Rollingwood will offer a parade along Rollingwood Drive, followed by food, games and a raffle at Rollingwood Park.

Individuals can celebrate the special holiday at the 48th annual event with performances from local musicians, a taco eating contest and a fireworks show. The Austin Symphony Orchestra will perform ahead of the fireworks display which is set to begin at 9:30 p.m.

Lake Travis Community Library West will host the Rolling Video Games Truck in July, bringing a mobile trailer outfitted with TVs, game consoles and a catalogue of over 100 games. Registration is not required.
