"Footloose: The Musical"


The Hill Country Galleria will host free performances of "Footloose: The Musical" on the Galleria’s Central Plaza Lawn. Visitors are welcome to bring blankets and chairs to place on the lawn during the show, which offers senior and accessibility nights with an ASL interpreter every Wednesday.August

West Austin Chamber of Commerce 1st Annual Golf Tournament


The event will foster team bonding with a scramble-style golf tournament that includes a dinner buffet and swag bags. Each player on a team will receive a round of golf in one of Golfinity's 18-hole simulation booths.Austin Pride Parade & Festival

Austin Pride will host "Queer Cabaret: Unleashed Glamour + Glitz," a themed pride festival at Fiesta Gardens, followed by a pride parade starting at the State Capitol and ending in the Warehouse District. IDs are required to enter the festival.

CancerCon Live

Nonprofit organization Stupid Cancer will host CancerCon Live—a weekend of keynote speakers, workshops, panels, social events, and local excursions for the adolescents and young adult cancer community (age 15–39), including cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, healthcare providers, and advocates.Lakeway Photography Club Summer Meeting

The Austin Model Railway Society is presenting over 25,000 square feet of model railroading in this August’s Austin Train Show. Attractions include vendors and raffles, a Kiddie Express train ride, a self-guided area model railroad tour and concessions. Admission includes both days.

6th Annual Abbey Lights Up COTA Gala

The gala, hosted by Abigail E. Keller Foundation, will have auctions and a raffle, a champagne wall, a Ricky Bobby impersonator and a performance from Suede band. Emcee Chet Garner will host the evening.

The Lakeway Arts Committee will feature fine/visual art, jewelry, pottery, face painting and live music at its 8th annual Cool Arts Show & Studio Tour in the Lakeway Activity Center. The show is Aug. 24 only, while the studio tour is Aug. 24 & 25 at various locations.September


Lakeway Garden Club Autumn Member Mixer


The Lakeway Garden Club will hold group discussions over fall vegetable planting and discuss opportunities for local gardening volunteer projects.Austin Bat Fest

Austin’s 2024 Bat Fest will include live music from multiple bands, food and drink vendors and arts and crafts vendors. Bat flight typically begins between 7-8:45 p.m. Visitors can bring sealed water bottles, soft sided coolers with water only and chairs. Bags will be searched.

Lego Robotics at Lake Travis Community Library

Lake Travis Community Library will host up to 8 pairs of parents and kids for an instructional lesson on how to write programs and build robots. Children 5 years or older are welcome, and a pass must be picked up 30 minutes prior to the event start time.
