The new learning academy will be the second preschool owned by Michelle Czaja and Art Rivas; the pair own a second Artistic Minds Early Learning Academy in Houston.
Czaja said they opened their business in 2020 and were able to maintain it through the pandemic.
“We want to be more than a day care center,” she said. “We want to be a place where children can learn through creativity and nurture their minds.”
The learning academy has different curriculum programs for children ages zero-17 months, 18-24 months and 3 years; they also offer after-school care for children 4-12 years old.
Artistic Minds also uses Frog Street Curriculum, which is a curriculum that uses Spanish language immersion, sign language, mathematics, music and various other academic subjects.
