Pregnancy Help Resource Center of Williamson County has had a few updates over the past several months.

The details

The center relocated to 2308 Old Airport Road from its previous location at 508 FM 1460 in May 2024. To celebrate the change, the community is invited to a grand opening open house and Christmas mini-market on Dec. 14 from 1-6 p.m. featuring local vendors including Two Sisters Hat Company, Texas Farmhouse, Tea’s Me and Ali’s Bakery.

Attendees are encouraged to bring children’s books, baby bottles and packs of diapers to leave under the center’s Christmas tree.

Also of note

The center also welcomed new executive director Sarah Bolton during its location transition.

Bolton said the new space will support the growth of the center’s current services.

“With our new expanded space, we will be able to service more families in need of pre-natal and parenting education, emotional and faith-based support as well as material assistance for all a baby's needs from birth to [their] second birthday,” Bolton said.

The center plans to expand its programs to include book clubs and peer-to-peer support classes on subjects such as nutrition, Bolton said.

What they offer

The center offers a range of services including pregnancy testing, an abortion healing course, resource information and personal mentoring and support.

The facility also has a boutique where individuals have the opportunity to earn maternity wear, diapers and infant clothing by taking courses about parental information.

All the services offered at the center are free of charge, Bolton said.
