Cookie Co., located at 1500 Rivery Blvd. Ste. 310, Georgetown, officially opened to the public March 21.

Cookie Co. at The Summit at Rivery Park is the first franchise outside its home state of California.

Founded by Elise and Matt Thomas in 2020, the sweet treat shop offers gourmet cookies flavors, including French toast, M&M explosion, sea salt and caramel, and pineapple upside-down cake.

The Georgetown location is owned by Beverly Querin and her family.

After graduating from Valdosta State University in 2018, she started her career as a reporter for the Rockdale Citizen in Conyers, Georgia.
