1. Mikey V’s Hot Sauce Shop opened in its new location on the Georgetown Square on Jan. 2 and added Tacos on the Square, a scratch kitchen and restaurant that will serve a wide variety of craft tacos, including breakfast tacos, as well as draft and bottled beer and wine. 2. Georgetown Pediatrics, part of Austin Health Partners, will open in March. Georgetown Pediatrics is focused on the overall health and well-being of infants, children, adolescents and young adults. It will provide wellness checks, sports physicals, ADD/ADHD care, acute and chronic illness treatment, injury care, immunizations, prenatal consultations, newborn care, behavioral health services and more. 3. Georgetown Rail Equipment Company, or GREX, changed its business name to Loram Technologies Inc. on Jan. 1. With the name change, Loram Technologies is introducing changes to the product line and service offerings, but it will continue to provide Aurora tie inspection services, ballast car products and services and SENSR structural monitoring products, among others, according to a news release.
