The majority of Central Texas school districts have canceled classes and extracurricular activities for Monday, Jan. 26, citing continued freezing temperatures and icy roads.

The following districts in Community Impact's coverage area will be closed Jan. 26:
- Austin ISD
- Bastrop ISD
- Dripping Springs ISD
- Eanes ISD
- Georgetown ISD
- Hays CISD
- Hutto ISD
- Lake Travis ISD
- Leander ISD
- Pflugerville ISD
- Round Rock ISD
- San Marcos CISD
As of 11:30 a.m., Liberty Hill ISD had not announced a decision on canceling classes.

In the Austin area, freezing temperatures are expected to persist throughout Sunday and into Monday morning. The high temperature on Monday is forecast at 34 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
