Tri Pointe Homes is working to construct Park Central, the homebuilder’s first self-developed community in the Austin area, in Georgetown.

The details

The 447-home neighborhood is set to consist of 191 single-family homes and 256 townhome units, according to a Nov. 13 news release.

The single-family homes in the development will range from 1,800-3,000 square feet, with three to five bedrooms, two to four bathrooms, and two and a half car garages. They will be built on 45-foot and 50-foot lots, per the release.

Located near the intersection of Patriot Way and SH 130 Toll, the community is expected to have an amenity center and clubhouse, pool, and 10-acre park, according to the release. There will also be walking trails, a pond, a hammock park, basketball and pickleball courts, a trike track, and a pavilion with picnic tables.

Tri Pointe is expected to begin sales in the neighborhood during the first couple of months of 2025, according to the release.

The why

Park Central is one of three neighborhoods Tri Pointe homes is currently building in, with the other two being Flora in Hutto and Lagos Reserve in Manor. Officials with the homebuilder said each of the communities is strategically located near major transportation and employment corridors.

“For more than a decade, Austin has consistently ranked in the top two fastest-growing large metro areas in the country, and our new communities are anticipated to provide residents with diverse home offerings that support the dynamic lifestyles Austin Metro residents enjoy,” Bryan Havel, division president of Tri Pointe Homes Austin, said in the release.
