Williamson County received 9,700 total COVID-19 vaccines during the week of Feb. 8, according to Texas Department of State Health Services.

Of those, 8,000 doses went to Williamson County’s vaccine hub in partnership with Family Hospital Systems. The county is hosting vaccination distribution sites Mondays and Tuesdays at the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex in Austin and Wednesdays at the Georgetown ISD Athletic Complex. However, due to inclement weather, the Wednesday vaccine distribution at GISD Athletic Complex has been moved to the Sun City Ballroom, 2 Texas Drive, Georgetown.

An additional 1,000 doses went to the Williamson County and Cities Health District, to which 500 doses will go to area long-term care facilities and 500 doses will to go individuals who are uninsured or underinsured, County Judge Bill Gravell said.

At this time, Williamson County and WCCHD are operating as separate entities but with the shared purpose of getting shots in arms, officials said.

DSHS determines vaccine allotments per location per week. While the county continues to request high numbers of doses each week, officials ask for patience as it works through the process.

Here are the other pharmacies set to receive COVID-19 vaccines this week and the number of doses allotted:

  • Lone Star Circle of Care at Cedar Park: 100

  • Lake Aire Medical Center Senior Health Wellness: 100

  • WellMed Leander: 400

  • Lone Star Circle of Care at Texas A&M Health Science Center: 100
