The Williamson County and Cities Health District confirmed 88 additional cases of the coronavirus June 25, bringing the total to 1,702.

Currently, 23 patients are hospitalized, nine are in intensive care and four are on a ventilator, it said. The county also reported 891 active cases and 757 recovered.

There 28% of beds and 62% of ventilators are available, per the report.

On June 2
4, the county recorded its highest daily jump in cases adding 116 new cases, bringing the total to 1,614. The county also reported 25 hospitalizations, with 831 active cases.

Justine Price, the deputy director of the Williamson County and Cities Health District, warned the Commissioners Court on June 23 that the county would likely see a large increase in hospitalizations as more cases are confirmed. She added that she worries there will be a spike in cases following the Fourth of July, as was the case with Memorial Day.
