Four individuals were helped in two water rescues conducted by the Williamson County Emergency Management on Tuesday morning, according to a news release.

One was a vehicle in high water off CR 251 in the Andice area. Both people in the vehicle were transported to a local hospital, the release said.

The second was a school bus off CR 177 in Leander, the release said. The driver and one student were assisted to a safe area with no injuries.

Both rescues were due to flooding, the release said.

Voluntary evacuations are also occurring at the Shady River RV Park off SH 29 east of Georgetown.

In addition, three swift water rescue teams from the Round Rock Fire Department, Cedar Park Fire Department and the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office are in Llano and Kingsland to assist with water rescues.
