Home improvement store Lowe's is slated to open in Georgetown by 2025, according to a project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

While a company representative could not be reached for comment as of press time, the filing states construction on the 110,241-square-foot store will begin in May and wrap up in December.

Lowe's is a national brand that sells hardware, tools, home decor, gardening supplies, appliances and more. The chain has hundreds of locations across the country, including five in the Austin area, according to its website.
