Cinderella’s Cleaning Services was established over a year ago by Michael and Liel Shahmanov, who hoped to fill a gap in the local economy after they found it lacked a reliable, professional and affordable cleaning service.

After their previous business failed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Shahmanovs decided to combine Liel’s love for cleaning with Michael’s experience in sales to start Cinderella’s.

“We started with Airbnbs, and I really liked it. I love cleaning; it’s my meditation,” Liel said.

Having been left unsatisfied by past experiences with other cleaning businesses, they sought to establish themselves as leaders in the Georgetown area by upholding and maintaining high standards for both their business and employees.

Cinderella’s offers three cleaning options, all backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee: a standard maintenance cleaning of the most-used areas of the house, a deluxe deep clean that goes into more detail and move-in/move-out cleans for new homeowners. All cleaning services are offered at regular intervals for those wanting weekly, biweekly or monthly cleaning.

“We try to provide something different with our business because many of our customers are not happy with their existing cleaning service. So we’re trying to learn from their needs and integrate it into our services,” Liel said.

Liel’s hope that the business can “have an impact and provide good jobs for locals as well as help others” is central to their business philosophy.

The couple decided $5 from every cleaning service would go toward local underprivileged families.

Liel’s experience losing both her parents at a young age along with relying on others to help her through grade school and then college instilled a spirit of philanthropy and generosity, which she wants to pay forward to the local community.

In the future, the Shahmanovs hope to expand Cinderella’s by hiring more employees and continuing to meet the goals they have set out.

“We are really passionate about what we do. We want our team and our customers to be happy. They inspire us to wake up in the morning and fight even though sometimes it’s hard,” Liel said.

The business serves Georgetown, Liberty Hill, Leander, Cedar Park, Brushy Creek and Round Rock.
