Chapulin Cantina, a new Oaxacan-style restaurant, opened at 1612 S. Congress Ave. on July 20. Chapulin Cantina was transformed from the previous restaurant Enoteca. Chapulin Cantina serves authentic Oaxacan bites such as moles, verde marinated mahi mahi and chorizo de bola. It makes all of its tortillas in house fresh daily. For dessert, it serves a mango flan with passion fruit caramel, fresh mango and cilantro.
