Three new food options now open in South Austin

Freddo ATX opened Dec. 15 in the historic Walter Tips House at 2336 S. Congress Ave., Austin. The coffee shop also offers Greek food, beer and wine served inside and on the patio of a house built in 1876. 512-599-4069. www.freddoatx.com

Eatery Thunder Chief opened in early October inside Lavaca Street Bar at 3121 S. Lamar Blvd., Austin, serving bar fare, including ballpark hot dogs, risotto balls, cauliflower wings, fried chicken sandwiches and vegan chicken sandwiches. Tso Chinese Delivery opened its third area location Nov. 27 at 2407 S. Congress Ave., Ste. F, Austin. It delivers within an approximately 4-mile radius. The company’s other two locations serving Central Austin are located at 3909 N. I-35, Ste. E-5, Austin, and 9333 Research Blvd., Bldg. E, Ste. 402, Austin. The company was founded by four Austinites: Min Choe, Angell Tsang, Jenna Choe and Eunice Tsang. They serve Chinese American classics such as General Tso chicken, honey walnut shrimp and Beijing beef. 512-774-4876
