Estelle's, a new social lounge painted in bright pink and green hues, opened in the former Truluck’s space at 400 Colorado St., Austin, on May 19.

The two-story lounge has a dimly lit intimate bar on the first floor and a bright upstairs with a DJ booth, big windows, dozens of plants and mid-century modern furniture selected with the help of female-led design firm Variant Collaborative.

The lounge also has an on-site flower shop that sells arrangements from Native Blooms.

On the menu

Estelle’s serves a botanical-themed drink menu including the matcha martini and the Pastel, a vodka cocktail with dragon fruit, hibiscus, raspberry and egg white.

The food menu has shareable items including oysters, truffle fries, and caviar served with whipped red onion creme fraiche on an everything-seeded English muffin. Bite-sized cookie sandwiches from local baker Cookie Rich are also available.

Meet the owners

Estelle’s comes from NoCo Hospitality, the Austin-based group that’s also behind Superstition, Higher Ground and Skinny’s Off Track Bar.

“Our goal will always be to guide our city’s nightlife for Austinites with immersive hospitality concepts,” NoCo Hospitality Director of Operations Nick Sanchez said. “The upscale, swanky environment is open to the public, but it feels like an exclusive experience.”
