Wu Chow—a “farm-to-wok” Chinese restaurant that has been serving downtown Austin since 2015—is opening a new location in the former Rosedale Kitchen and Bar space this summer.

Wu Chow’s new restaurant will have the same menu as the downtown location, except for a few exclusive dishes that will be announced closer to the opening date.

The menu features authentic, modern Chinese food, including twice-cooked pork belly, Hunan-style beef, Sichuan-braised eggplant and more. Wu Chow will also serve an “intricate” Sunday dim sum menu with soup dumplings, shrimp Shumai, cold sesame noodles and other items. Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options are available.

The new location will also have a 30-person private dining room with a private entrance.

Wu Chow is owned by Chameleon Cos., the hospitality group also behind Swift’s Attic, Little Wu, and Rosedale Kitchen and Bar—which shuttered in October.

Wu Chow’s second restaurant will be located at 3800 N. Lamar Blvd., Ste. 170, Austin.
