The Chicago-based curated convenience store Foxtrot will open its first Austin location Feb. 17.

The new store—located at 4800 Burnet Road, Bldg. F, Austin—will be the first of four Foxtrot stores slated to pop up throughout the city in 2023. Foxtrot locations at City Hall, the Drag and South First Street are set to open later this year.

Foxtrot serves as both a corner store and all-day cafe, serving coffee, seasonal espresso drinks, breakfast tacos, smoothies, salads, and grab-and-go meals for lunch and dinner. Foxtrot’s shelves will have many local products, including Honest Lick Ice Creams, Toasty plant-based dips, Bottle Rocket hot sauce and Chop Chop Ramen. The company’s Chicago locations have already carried several Austin-based brands, including Kosmic Kombucha and Siete Foods.

The store will also carry craft beer, wine—selected by Foxtrot’s in-house sommelier—flowers and everyday essentials. Items will be available for pickup or delivery through the company’s app.

“It is an amazing feeling to finally open a location in the city that helped bring Foxtrot to life,” Foxtrot founder and CEO Mike LaVitola said in a news release. “We're thrilled to open our first location in Austin to showcase old friends and new partners in the Austin culinary community, and a great space to enjoy the neighborhood any time of day.”
