2 Guys, 1 Pit BBQ is planning to expand its barbecue joint in the summer to include a full bar and more seating.

220-home community planned for Cypress-Rosehill Road in western Tomball


A 67-acre, 220-home community named Ellerden is under development by the Pulte Group in western Tomball, said Lee Jones, vice president of land acquisition for Pulte Group. The development is on the western side of Cypress-Rosehill Road less than a mile north of the Grand Parkway.

Dallas-Fort Worth

McKinney ISD hits record high number of active COVID-19 cases as of Jan. 19


McKinney ISD has reached almost 1,000 active COVID-19 cases, according to a dashboard on the district website. As of Jan. 19, the district reported 883 active cases in students and 110 active cases in staff, bringing the total number of cases to 993.
