The Country Music Television Music Awards will be hosted at the Moody Center in Austin on April 2, and there are several preshow events happening March 29-April 1 for fans to check out as part of CMT Music Awards Week.

March 29: ‘CMT Hot 20 Countdown: Live in Austin’

This CMT event will include Cody Alan, Carissa Culiner and Marley Sherwood for a live taping of “CMT Hot 20 Countdown: Live in Austin.” Appearances will include CMT Music Awards co-hosts Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown, Russel Dickerson, and Lonestar. Attendees must be age 18 or older. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

March 29: CMT Music Awards outdoor stage taping

Country music superstars Carrie Underwood, Kane Brown and Katelyn Brown, Kieth Urban, and Tyler Hubbard perform during this taping event. Attendees will need to pick up wristbands at a location that is to be announced before heading to the outdoor taping area. This event is for those age 18 and older, and country concert attire is encouraged. However, shirts with large logos or brand names, sparkly sequins, or solid fluorescent or super bright colors should be avoided, according to the event description. Fans can be part of a live audience for an upcoming installment of music series “CMT Crossroads.” Headliners include Darius Rucker, a three-time Grammy Award winner, and multiplatinum rock band The Black Crowes. This event is for those age 18 and older, and country concert attire is encouraged. April 1: CMT Block Party

Check out live music, attend artist meet and greets, collect free swag, play games, and seize multiple chances to win tickets to the Moody Center for the 2023 CMT Music Awards happening April 2. The block party event is open to the public and hosts family-friendly fun. DJ Cassandra will play an all-day set, and Hannah Ellis, Matt Koziol and William Clark Green are set to perform. No preregistration is required.

April 1: 2023 CMT Music Awards Ram Trucks Stage
