Several Austin-area restaurant concepts are preparing to expand into Cedar Park and Leander through the planned New Hope-Scottsdale Development along the Cedar Park-Leander border.

New filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation show Salt Traders Coastal Cooking, Day Maker Half Day Cafe and Pinthouse Pizza are all expected to join the mixed-use development, with construction on the projects slated to begin this fall and wrap up by mid-2027.
Pinthouse Pizza
A new Pinthouse Pizza location is expected to join the New Hope-Scottsdale Development and is slated to begin construction in September, according to a recent filing with TDLR. The $7.43 million project will include a 13,640-square-foot restaurant and brewery facility, along with a covered canopy, outdoor beer garden and full site development, with completion expected by June 2027. Pinthouse has five existing locations: three in Austin, one in Round Rock and another in San Antonio.

Salt Traders Coastal Cooking
A new location for Salt Traders Coastal Cooking is also planned for a new development along the Cedar Park-Leander border, according to a recent TDLR filing. The $1.72 million project calls for the construction of an 8,175-square-foot restaurant shell building, with work expected to begin in September and wrap up by June 2027.

Day Maker Half Day Cafe
A second Day Maker Half Day Cafe location is anticipated for the New Hope-Scottsdale Development, according to a recent TDLR filing. The $1.21 million project includes the construction of a 5,300-square-foot restaurant shell building, with work expected to begin in September and conclude by June 2027. The concept launched its first location in South Austin in late 2024 and hails from the same restaurant team behind Jack Allen’s Kitchen and Salt Traders.
