June 11: Kick it ‘90s style

The Crossover is hosting Summer Bash, a family-friendly ‘90s-themed party featuring band, Zoodust. The event will have ‘90s-themed drinks, food trucks, inflatable slides and bounce houses, face painting, a photo booth, and a dance off. Cornhole boards and the volleyball area will be open. June 18: Celebrate Juneteenth

The city of Leander is hosting its first-ever Juneteenth Jubilee celebration in partnership with Sunset Music Series. Leander’s annual Liberty Fest on July 4 at Lakewood Park will feature live music, children’s activities, food and a fireworks display. The park will open at 3 p.m., and the first band will perform at 3:30 p.m. Off-site parking for the event will open at 2 p.m. There will be buses available to transport attendees to the festival, and they will begin loading at 2:30 p.m. This year’s main performer, country artist Kyle Park, will perform at 8:30 p.m. The fireworks display will start at 9:30 p.m. 2-10:30 p.m. Free.
