The Leander ISD board of trustees voted to hire two principals at its Dec. 12 meeting.
Josh Haug will be the new principal of Leander Middle School, and Shanita Kozlowski will be the new principal of Naumann Elementary School.
An LISD employee for 13 years, Haug currently serves as an assistant principal at Rouse High School, according to an LISD press release. Before that, he served as an assistant principal at Wiley Middle School. He began his teaching career in 2006 as a teacher at Vista Ridge High School.
Kozlowski comes from Round Rock ISD’s Caldwell Heights Elementary School, where she has served as assistant principal. Before that, she was an assistant principal at RRISD’s Union Hill Elementary School, according to the release. She began her teaching career in 1999 as an elementary school teacher at Red Rock Elementary School in Bastrop.
