Austin barbecue company Slab BBQ & Beer is bringing its barbecue "sammiches" to Cedar Park. A soft opening is planned for late September.
The Cedar Park location will carry the restaurant's regular menu, which features a variety of brisket, chicken, sausage and pork sandwiches.
The restaurant will be at 905 E. Whitestone Blvd., Ste. A, Cedar Park, replace the now-closed Pieology Pizzeria. Slab BBQ & Beer has two other locations at the Y at Oak Hill in South Austin and on Research Boulevard in North Austin.
