As of May 7, the splash pad at 3300 Brushy Creek Road is open to the public, according to a news release from the city. The pad now has 36 different water elements, offering expanded ways to spray and play.
Two-minute impact
The space is designed to bring family, friends and neighbors together to cultivate safe and engaging experiences, according to the release.
One of the new features is the TITAN Speed Racer, which the city said was the first of its kind in the state. The Speed Racer can entertain up to 30 children at once, has various play areas and is over 15 feet tall, according to the release.
The splash pad now has three play zones, and there is a non-spray area with seating and tables. There are also weather detection systems at the pad to look out for inclement weather.

How we got here
Changes to the splash pad were approved by Cedar Park City Council in December 2023, according to previous reporting.
The $1.1 million project was funded by city community development funds, according to the release.
What they’re saying
"Although a long time in the making, we are extremely proud to provide a revitalized splash pad to the residents of our community,” Parks and Recreation Director Mike DeVito said in the release.
