Spring Showcase: Makerspace-Made Art

Community members can see the artwork created by artists of all ages in the library’s makerspace. Artists will share the inspiration behind their artwork and spring-themed refreshments will be served.

Memorial Day Freedom Run


To honor the special day, families are welcome to stay active by participating in the event’s one mile family fun run, 5k, 10k or 13.1 half marathon. All paces and ages are welcome with a guardian present for participants under the age of 18.

Magical Drip - White Painting

Individuals can explore their creative side by taking an all ages painting course where they will learn step by step how to paint a neon animal. Refreshments and snacks of any kind are welcome.

Relax Con Mami


Hosted by The Latina Foundation, mothers and children will have the opportunity to create self care products including do-it-yourself heat packs and sugar scrubs.

3rd annual Mental Health Expo

Hosted by Justice of the Peace Judge Angela Williams of Williamson County Precinct 2, the event will promote mental wellness, connect community members with resources and encourage open conversations about mental health.

As part of her U.S. tour “I AM HOME,” the singer will perform “Bidi jalaile jigar se” “Sheila Ki Jawani,” “Kamli,” and “Desi Girl.” Chauhan is a Bollywood legend with several song appearances in Indian films.

Summer Adventure Kickoff

The library will celebrate the start of its summer adventure program with an afternoon of musical performances by Staci Gray and Diversity Band featuring drums from across the world. Staff will help individuals interested in registering for the summer reading challenge.

Summer Splash Best in Class Bookfair

Parents and children can celebrate the end of the school year by attending the book fair featuring board games, refreshments, pizza and Pokémon card trading. Participants are encouraged to bring their used books.

Pastries with Pop

Community members can enjoy Father’s Day by experiencing a three and a half hour round trip vintage train ride. The experience includes pastries from a local bakery and views of the San Gabriel River, Short Creek Canyon and more.


Go Skateboarding Day

The city-run skateboarding day event will feature competitions with prizes, music and concessions.
