“We're excited to be in the neighborhood [and] be part of the community,” founder Roberto Espinosa said. “We're really fortunate that we found a place we can call home here.”
On the menu
The restaurant is known for selling breakfast tacos like The Otto, made with organic refried black beans, double bacon, avocado and jack cheese. Tacodeli also specializes in lunch and dinner tacos like the Cowboy, which includes dry-rubbed beef tenderloin, grilled corn, caramelized onion, roasted peppers, guacamole and queso fresco.
Tacodeli partners with various brands and farms to source their ingredients, including Mill-King Creamery, Vital Farms, HeartBrand Ranch and more.
Giving back
Tacodeli had a soft opening in early September where community members could visit the business and order food on a donation-based basis. Proceeds from the donations and alcohol sales on Sept. 5 and 6 were allocated to the PTSA at Rouse High School and Vista Ridge High School in Leander ISD.
“We're doing a give back program with [the high schools] and we're excited to engage the local community here,” Espinosa said. "We've always had a philosophy that we try to support the community that supports us."
