For nearly five years, Noodle Alley has served traditional Chinese noodle soups alongside dumplings and steam buns to diners in the Cedar Park area.

Must-try menu items

Popular dishes include the savory red-braised beef short rib noodle soup and spicy hot pot brisket noodle soup.

Shoyu ramen is Noodle Alley's twist on a Japanese dish with beef-based broth. The dan dan noodles entree is made with a sesame paste and peanut butter sauce blended with chili oil and pepper soy sauce.

The restaurant steams dumplings with a seasoned pork filling to make soup-filled dumplings. Fried rice and stir fry noodle dishes are also available.

Something to note

Floor manager Brian Dheng said the business offer a range of unique dishes while maintaining the menu’s simplicity.

Noodle Alley owner Ting Lin created the menu featuring entrees made with fresh noodles and packed with flavor, Dheng said.

The family-owned noodle shop has a diverse clientele and receives the most business during the cold winter months when diners commonly crave noodle soup, he said.

The background

Noodle Alley opened off North Bell Boulevard in 2020. The business began offering take out orders amid the COVID-19 pandemic but has since expanded to serving customers in its dining room.

Owners Ting and April Lin are passionate about noodle soup and wanted to open a noodle restaurant in the Cedar Park and Leander area as there were not many similar dining options at the time, Dheng said. The couple has opened several Asian restaurant concepts in the Austin area, including Hotpot Alley and Bao’d Up.

In their own words

"We always try to provide the best experience, best service we can," Dheng said. "Every customer, whether it is a returning customer or new customer, we always want to make sure that they're satisfied with the dish that we offer... We try to provide more service to the customer to help them find the right dish."
