La Dosis, a new dining concept by Taco Flats and La Holly owner Simon Madera, is set to open in Cedar Park this fall.

The restaurant will serve customers their morning, afternoon and evening dosages of coffee, tacos and cocktails, as La Dosis translates to “the dosage” in Spanish, Madera said.

What's on the menu

Located at the former J&J BBQ and Burgers spot, La Dosis will feature a smokehouse-inspired menu, including smoked beef fajitas and rotisserie chicken cooked on rotisserie-style smokers.

La Dosis will serve breakfast consisting of kolaches, tacos and high-compressed coffee.

The new eatery will also offer frozen drinks. Taco Flats and La Holly are known for their spicy frozen margaritas, Madera said.

La Dosis’ full menu is still under development, he said.

Also of note

The family-friendly dining experience will feature an outdoor bar, an entertainment system where diners can watch sports and a grassy play area for children.

Madera opened Taco Flats—which currently has four locations—in 2014 and La Holly in 2018.
