Mother Acres is now open on Anderson Mill Road in Cedar Park, bringing raw milk, pasture raised eggs, tallow skincare, beef cuts and cow shares to the community. The brick-and-mortar farm stand, founded by Shayda Torabi Howell and her husband Sage, was created to bring fresh, locally sourced products to the community, according to previous Community Impact reporting.

The details

The business opened on Oct. 18 and is now operating with limited hours Thursday through Saturday. Mother Acres is also a pick-up location for Gather and Deliver, an online company that sells produce, dairy, apothecary, pet care and more for delivery or pick up at a local spot.

Looking ahead

Torabi Howell also hosts family-friendly events in Cedar Park, including walks and barre classes. The next Cedar Park Mom Walk events will be on Nov. 7 and Dec. 5. For the November walk, Dr. Tony Machani from Amani Pediatric Dentistry will join to answer questions about teething, dental visit and oral health for kids, according to the Cedar Park Mom Walk Instagram.

Mother Acres is also expected to collaborate with Mama Barre Fitness on Nov. 8 to have a 45 minute barre class at the Mother Acres storefront, followed by Mother Acres smash burgers, a photo station and local vendors, according to Instagram.
