A new farmers market is set to open at Lakeline Mall in Cedar Park on Sept. 7.

Lakeline Farmers Market will be held in the former Texas Farmers' Market location, which moved to Cedar Park's Bell District in May.

Per a market representative, Lakeline Farmers Market will:
  • Feature items such as locally grown fruits and vegetables; chicken, beef, lamb and eggs from local ranchers; pastries, bread and gluten-free baked goods; honey; coffee; tea; artisan salsa; and handmade goods, such as candles and jewelry
  • Host other activities, including live music, children's activities, plant swaps, cooking demonstrations and mushroom compost shares
  • Have eligible vendors accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits
The new market will have free parking and be held year round every Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., rain or shine.
