The beer garden serves a variety of gourmet hot dogs, sausages and burgers served on Hawaiian sweet rolls, plus chicken, breakfast burritos and plant-based meats. The space also includes a dog-friendly patio and full bar with 24 beers on tap and signature cocktails.Nameless Saloon

The food truck park and bar owned by Jesse Fortney serves craft drinks and beer, and has a stage for live music. As of late December, the establishment had three food trucks, including Casita Ruby, Topp Dawg and Wylies. The dual-brand location carries Auntie Anne’s menu of pretzels and lemonade as well as Jamba’s smoothies, juices, bowls and bites. The Austin-based pet store has expanded to the Bar W Marketplace shopping center. The business carries food, treats, toys, supplements and supplies for cats and dogs. It also offers services such as dental clinics, lost pet microchip scans and a self-serve pet wash.Wingstop

Mojo Coffee


Texas-based, family-owned Mojo Coffee will open its newest location in Cedar Park in spring. Founded in 2015 by cousins Austin Moon, Forrest Jackson and Lloyd Reagan, Mojo Coffee roasts its beans and makes all frappes in-house with a soft-serve ice cream machine. The Cedar Park shop will be managed by current Lakeline Manager Julia Fusilier.Shady Brew Garden

The food truck park will offer beer, wine and coffee, and host up to four trucks. Owned by Omar Dyess, Chris Nguyen, Elias Cruz and John Dyess, the establishment will have a covered patio, live music, a playscape, lawn games, picnic tables and a dog park.Wahoo's Fish Taco

Originating in California, Wahoo’s offers a broad menu of food options, such as tacos, burritos, salad, and plates with ceviche and cauliflower rice. This Old Town Leander location will be the first to open after the restaurant in downtown Austin closed years ago, owner Jesse Fortney said.Rock Liquor

Rabbit Hole Neighborhood Bar

A spin-off of The Lucky Rabbit in Jonestown, the opening of the second Rabbit Hole location in Leander has been pushed back due to permitting delays. The establishment’s cocktails are mixed with local liquors and have rabbit-themed names.Relocations

Whitestone Brewery

The Cedar Park taproom will have its final day at its current location, 601 E. Whitestone Blvd., Ste. 500, Bldg. 5, on Jan. 14 to prepare for its move to 401 E. Whitestone Blvd. in the old Lucy’s Fried Chicken. Whitestone Brewery will partner with 600 Degrees Pizzeria & Drafthouse at the new spot. The Liberty Hill location will remain open.In the news


7 Brew Coffee


The drive-thru coffee chain’s upcoming location is set to be completed by July, according to a project registration with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. An Arkansas-based business, the company has over 100 locations in the U.S., and serves a variety of hot and iced coffee beverages.Cedar Park Regional Medical Center

Sean C. Tinney will start as the hospital’s next CEO on Jan. 22, according to a Dec. 19 announcement. Tinney will be replacing previous CEO, Bo Beaudry, who’s last day was Sept. 15. Tinney has worked as the chief operating officer at Medical West in Birmingham, Alabama, since 2013.Austin Eastciders

Michigan-based Blake's Beverage Company acquired the Austin-based cider producer in November; however, those in charge said no changes are in the works to the cidery's brand or products.
