Austin-area locals Daniel Luo and Alex Liu will debut their first restaurant when the pair opens Volcano Sushi & Ramen in the Burleson Crossing Shopping Center.
Luo said he and Liu have worked in Bastrop in the past and fell in love with the area.
“We like Bastrop so much that we wanted to open our first restaurant here, and we will move here [in July],” Luo said.
In addition to sushi and ramen, Luo and Liu will offer Chinese food at the sit-down restaurant, which will be nestled between CareNow Urgent Care and DoubleDave’s Pizzaworks.
Renovations are set to begin on the 2,350-square-foot eatery in August, Luo said.
