Residents and visitors can map out their holiday plans in Bastrop with a lineup that includes festive model trains, live shows, downtown caroling and more.

Holiday Express Train Show

Conducted by local model train enthusiast Bruce Looman, the themed exhibit will feature model trains running through a miniature holiday village with festive decorations.

Bastrop Christmas Tree Lighting and River of Lights

Attendees can enjoy live music and sweet treats while Santa Claus and Bastrop city officials light the Christmas tree at Fisherman’s Park—kick-starting the half-mile River of Lights display.Farm Street Opry: A Country Christmas

Bastrop’s Rockin’ Holiday Revue

Live holiday music and an emcee will fill the historic Bastrop Opera House with holiday cheer. Attendees are encouraged to wear festive attire.Wreaths Across America Ceremony
