Mina Masonic Lodge in Bastrop is reeling in locals for its annual fall fundraiser.

The details

A fish fry—consisting of catfish, fries, beans, coleslaw and hush puppies—will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 601 Main St., Bastrop.

“When you participate in our fundraiser, you're investing directly in your community's future,” Christoper Conrad, a junior steward with Mina Masonic Lodge, told Community Impact in an email. “Mina Masonic Lodge proudly enables and supports a wide variety of community programs and initiatives that touch lives across Bastrop and beyond.”

Those programs and initiatives include:
  • Educational programs in local schools
  • Health and wellness initiatives
  • Scholarship opportunities for students
  • Food security efforts
  • Recognition programs that celebrate community members
“In an increasingly disconnected world, this fundraiser offers something essential—a chance to build bridges, spread kindness and prove that united communities create lasting change,” Conrad said.

Conrad stressed that Mina Masonic Lodge is more than just a building.

“We champion the timeless principles of brotherly love, relief and truth while fostering good citizenship and community engagement,” Conrad said. “Through fellowship and mutual support, we inspire each member to become their best self while extending our service beyond our walls into the communities where we live and work.”
