A Bastrop-based juice shop will complete a rebrand in mid-March that updates its name, visual identity and in-store experience—a new chapter for the locally owned business as it begins to offer more health-conscious options for customers in the community.
The details
Char Rebell and Stephanie Berry, who have nearly 50 years of experience in the natural health industry, are renaming Radiant Juice + Smoothie Bar to Sage Well.
Rebell told Community Impact the name change will better reflect their business model.
“We're not just going to be a juice bar anymore,” she said. “We're going to be a community here in Bastrop that's focused on learning more about health and how to increase health naturally and getting guidance in doing so.”
For the pair, who purchased the business from DeLacey Martin in early September, that means sourcing as many ingredients as they can locally and offering ongoing in-store events, such as Wellness Wednesday—a day when customers can discuss natural health with Rebell.
“Our smoothies are 100% fruit,” Rebell said. “We don’t put any ice in them. We don’t dilute them. We make sure that when you get a smoothie, you’re paying for a smoothie that’s healing and helping you be a healthier person.”
The menu
Sage Well will continue to offer a variety of additional products that “restore balance, support immunity and elevate mood,” including:
- Craft juices
- Tonics
- Herbal drinks
- Smoothie bowls
- Elixirs and shots
- Coffee
- Tea
- Hot chocolate
Notable quote
“We're catching people that are going from Houston to Austin, who are used to having something like what we're offering in Bastrop available to them,” Rebell said. “So they're literally searching us out and stopping on the way through.”
