Tacos El Fercho took its place in the Chestnut Grove Food Truck Court in mid-January.
What's happening
Known as The Pie Queen, Buckingham said she is taking a much-needed break while cooking up a new business model that will allow her more flexibility.
"I'm going to be doing meal deliveries, like chef-prepared meals and things like that," she said, adding that the reinvented business should be running within the next several months.
Until then, Buckingham said those interested in placing custom orders can call her at 512-552-8319 or reach out on her Facebook page.
What else?
Buckingham said she is also adding "author" to her repertoire.
"I'm working on two books—one of them is redoing my mom's cookbook before she passed away," she said.

Some context
Buckingham is known locally and nationally for her pies—with chef Gordon Ramsay left licking his plate clean on one occasion.
Her recipes at The Cutie Pie Wagon featured 4.5-inch pies made from family-inspired recipes.
Other items on the menu included quiches; Southern Strawberry Banana Puddin' with vanilla wafers; and chicken pot pie in a creamy bechamel sauce wrapped in a garlic butter crust.
