Formerly known as Radiant Juice and Smoothie Bar, owner DeLacey Martin will reopen her eatery with new options on Aug. 1.

What they offer

The new concept, Radiant Juice Bar and Eatery, will fill the former Johnson's Bakery location in downtown Bastrop—which closed on July 15.

Martin and her team will offer a completely gluten-free restaurant and bakery, in addition to a salad bar with protein options such as chicken, steak and salmon.

Martin said customers will still be able to enjoy fan favorites, including fresh-pressed juices, smoothies and other healthy treats.

Some context

Radiant Juice was founded in 2019 by Danielle McDonald at Community Gardens. In January, Martin bought it after learning it was for sale.

"I could not bear to see if leave Bastrop," Martin said. "I decided to buy it from [McDonald] and vowed to keep its integrity intact, and add to it."

Martin relocated the juice bar on Jan. 14 at the corner of Chestnut and Jefferson streets.
