The facility at 105 Perth Cove, Bastrop, estimated to cost $10 million, is scheduled to start construction on Dec. 1 with a completion date by Dec. 1, 2026, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
“We’ve been working really hard on designing the amenity center, and we really wanted this Del Webb to feel modern but still add in that Hill Country feel into the vibes here,” said Ashley Ellis, vice president of sales at PulteGroup.
The amenity center at Del Webb Lost Pines will feature several offerings, including:
- Pickleball courts
- Bocce
- Resort-style pool
- Golf simulator
- Fitness center
- Ballroom
- Work rooms
- Synthetic turf
A groundbreaking ceremony for the Del Webb Lost Pines project—the second of its kind by PulteGroup within an hour’s drive of Austin—July 10.
“We’ve been up in Georgetown with our Del Webb brand for close to 30 years now, and we have really been trying to find another pocket of the Austin metropolitan statistical area,” Bryan Beil, the vice president of land acquisition for PulteGroup, told Community Impact. “I think for the longest time, Bastrop was on our radar. Its proximity to the airport, small-town charm and just the number of 55-plus households that live in this area made it feel like a great opportunity for us.”
The first phase will include six model homes, which crews will begin work on by mid-August, followed by the amenity center. A second and third phase will tackle construction of 503 lots, Beil said.
“We’re proud to be planting our roots here and becoming a part of the Bastrop community,” Pablo Rivas, division president of PulteGroup Central Texas, said.
